When combined with prefabricated timber floors and a prefabricated roof, Vertical Wall Panels provide a system-build solution that can construct the superstructure of a house from foundation to roof within five days onsite.

The Osborne Flexihome solution is built in Innovare’s factory in Coventry, and delivered as a full turnkey solution by its Construction Team.  Both are part of the Osborne Group, offering an integrated service.

Innovaré has re-engineered the process of creating new housing, from design to on-site assembly. The process uses manufacturing efficiency and better integrated processes to achieve faster build times, cost certainty and consistent quality levels. Roe Timberframe’s 80,000 square foot facility has a monthly production capacity of £3m and focuses on timber frame, truss and joist and steel fabrication.

The company operation includes sourcing sustainable materials from reputable importers, burning some waste material to heat our factories, recycling waste timber for other uses including brickettes for wood burners.

Sigmat provides light gauge steel framing for up to 15 stories and has delivered 300 projects nationwide.

An in house design and structural engineering team utilises Tekla BIM software to design the most efficient building superstructures which are EC3 compliant and rendered into a 3D, BIM ready model.

Design specifications from Tekla are automatically transferred to Sigmat’s cold roll forming mills. Hot rolled fabricated panel strengthening components are manufactured in parallel ready for final assembly. Cold rolled components combine with fabricated HRS sections and are assembled in-house into storey height panels, typically 3m to 8m in size. External panels receive an A1 fire-rated 12mm Y-wall sheathing board to provide water and fire protection.

Depending on client requirements, additional insultation and support channels are installed at this time. Every site has a dedicated Contracts Manager during the on-site build process.

Starship provides a light gauge steel 2D panelised system which allows it to complete each home and install to a watertight state, in 1.5 days and for up to 9 stories.

This creates a controlled environment on site, ready for fit, without the additional overhead costs.  Homes arrive completely externally finished with windows and doors.

The system is NHBC Accepts accredited and installation can be done anywhere a client can fit a refuse collection vehicle. There is no requirement for special traffic measures, escorted loads, road closures or large cranes.

TopHat is a modular housing manufacturer and contractor backed by Goldman Sachs, and is the UK’s first zero embodied carbon home builder. TopHat is currently developing its second factory to take capacity of over 4,000 homes per annum.

A TopHat home has 1/27th the embodied carbon of a traditional home, due to the use of low carbon impact materials, such as timber, and the reduction in waste through precision manufacturing. The standard TopHat home achieves a 55% reduction in carbon emissions over a 60-year period and exceeds current environmental legislation and performance requirements.
